March is National Social Work Month: Tara Taylor
This is Tara Taylor. Tara grew up in Tallahassee, Florida. She always found joy in helping others and wanted a career doing so. She studied social work and earned her degree from Florida State University. Tara’s journey began as a Foster Care Counselor working for the Department of Children and Families. She has worked in various settings in the industry for 30 years.
Currently, Tara is the Director of Administration and oversees all facilities, Human Resources, IT, Property and Records for C1, C2 and C14.
Tara has many strengths including her willingness to help others whether they are an employee or a client. She is able to develop relationships and also maintains a vast knowledge of community resources. Tara recognizes the value of each of each employee and makes herself available to everyone at all times. Social work drives Tara daily to make the world a better place!
