NWF staff and network providers attended the 2024 Human Trafficking Summit and gained invaluable insights from an incredible lineup of speakers.

Alicia Tappan’s brave, personal testimony left a profound impact, reminding us of the resilience and strength of survivors.

Marina Anderson shed light on the critical link between substance abuse and human trafficking, highlighting the importance of understanding and addressing this connection.

State Attorney Larry Basford’s discussed how trafficking led to the murder of a local woman and Lt. Jeremy Mathis discussed labor trafficking and how our tourist driven economy brings labor traffickers to our area.

We are grateful for the opportunity to learn from these speakers and are more determined than ever to advocate for change and support those affected by human trafficking.
