Social Work Appreciation Month: Ashlee Harris
Meet NWF’s Ashlee Harris. Ashlee attended Florida A&M University for her Bachelors in Social Work and then she received her Masters Degree in Social Work from Florida State University. Ashlee is a Behavioral Health MDT Facilitator for Circuit 2. She is responsible for determining eligibility for children that have higher behavioral and mental health needs.
Ashlee became a social worker because she’s always had a helping spirit and wanted a career where she could help others in different capacities. She says “Social Work was perfect since you have so many avenues that you can take to help those in the community.”
When Ashlee is not working, she enjoys spending time with family, reading, watching all things Marvel/Disney, and putting together Legos.
Thank you Ashlee, we appreciate your dedication to helping children and families in our community.
