Social Work Appreciation Month: Dominique Wilkes

Dominique earned her Bachelor’s in Social Work with high honors from Florida A&M University and is now on the verge of completing her Masters in Social Work from Florida State University.

She currently holds the position of Placement Specialist at NWF Health. A noteworthy achievement of hers is the establishment of a mentoring program aimed at supporting at-risk youth at Lake City Middle School.

Dominique’s aspiration to become a social worker stems from a deep desire to be a reliable “Safe Space” for vulnerable youth, providing them with the support and guidance they need on their life journey. “Serving and empowering these individuals is not just a profession for me; it’s my passion.”
