Accounting Intern

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Under general supervision, provide diverse administrative support to Management. To perform assigned accounting activities in an accurate and timely manner. Require judgment and comprehensive knowledge of applicable operations.

LOCATION:  Tallahassee

STARTING ANNUAL SALARY:  $15/hour

Sr Accountant II- Payroll Supervisor

POSITION OBJECTIVE: To support NWFHN/NWF with payroll processes and performing accounting-related tasks.

LOCATION: Anywhere in the service area

STARTING ANNUAL SALARY:  $56,000-$60,000

Placement Specialist

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Identify and assess client and family needs related to the intake, placement, and permanency of children placed in care or under supervision by DCF/NWFHN due to abuse or neglect by caretakers. Evaluate, coordinate, and ensure necessary services and data integrity.

LOCATION: Panama City

STARTING ANNUAL SALARY:  $46,000

Placement Specialist

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Identify and assess a child’s needs and match them to the most appropriate placement where their needs would be met. This involves an in depth knowledge of available resources as well as the child welfare system, and the aptitude to match a child’s distinctive needs to the least restrictive placement available.

LOCATION: Tallahassee

STARTING ANNUAL SALARY:  $46,000

Kinship Specialist

POSITION OBJECTIVE: License and support Level 1 foster homes for children in the custody of DCF/NWFHN. Ensure timely licensure of families and necessary support is provided as well as maintain data integrity.

LOCATION: for Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties

STARTING ANNUAL SALARY:  $45,000

Kinship Specialist

POSITION OBJECTIVE: License and support Level 1 foster homes for children in the custody of DCF/NWFHN. Ensure timely licensure of families and necessary support is provided as well as maintain data integrity.

LOCATION: Bay, Washington and Jackson Counties

STARTING ANNUAL SALARY:  $45,000

Foster Family Support Supervisor

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Support and relicense foster families for children in licensed out-of-home care under the supervision of NWFHN/DCF.

LOCATION: Pensacola

STARTING ANNUAL SALARY:  $52,500

Accounting Manager

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Reporting to the Director Accounting, this position will supervise the accounting staff, ensuring timely and accurate financial data to the DA and CFO. The Accounting Manager will oversee the daily accounting operations of the Companies (Big Bend Community Based Care, Inc. and NWF Partnership for Better Communities) and be responsible for ensuring a complete and final close of accounting records on a monthly and annual basis. The Accounting Manager will assist in preparing and supervising the periodic audits of the Companies’ accounts. Under the direction of the DA and CFO, the Accounting Manager will ensure compliance with State, Federal and Industry standards.

LOCATION: Tallahassee

STARTING ANNUAL SALARY:  $95,000- $110,000

Fatherhood Peer Support Specialist

POSITION OBJECTIVE: The Fatherhood Peer Support Specialist is an active member of the child welfare team and provides peer support services to fathers including those with substance misuse, to include co-occurring mental health challenges. Conducts outreach to jails, to the broader community, and provides education and ongoing peer support. This position is a grant funded position with initial funding being provided for a period of two (2) fiscal years. Funding for subsequent years may become available based upon program goal achievement and funding source availability.

LOCATION: Perry, Madison, Apalachicola, Monticello, De Funiak, Shalimar, Crestview, Marianna, Chipley, Crawfordville, Quincy, and Tallahassee

STARTING ANNUAL SALARY:  $42,000 – $50,000

Vouchering Assistant

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Perform data entry activities and assure data integrity in child welfare systems (FSFN/CoBris) related to children in licensed care or under the supervision of Department of Children and Families (DCF)/NWFHN. Perform and monitor vouchering activities to assure payment to foster care/adoptive providers, Independent Living (IL) Youth, Relative/Non-Relative Caregiver (GAP Program) and Child Welfare Providers.

LOCATION: Panama City

STARTING ANNUAL SALARY:  $16/ Hour

Accountant II - Accounts Payable

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Under general supervision, provide diverse administrative support to Management. To perform assigned accounting activities in an accurate and timely manner. Requires judgment and comprehensive knowledge of applicable operations.

STARTING ANNUAL SALARY:  $20/ Hour – $21/ Hour

Adoption Specialist

POSITION OBJECTIVE: This Position requires a high level of expertise in the area of the child welfare dependency process as related to obtaining permanency for the children in the State of Florida Child Welfare System.

LOCATION: Circuit 1 (Walton, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, Escambia Counties)

STARTING ANNUAL SALARY:  $50,000

Lead Foster Family Support Specialist

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Act as a unit lead in supporting and relicensing foster families for children in licensed out-of-home care under the supervision of NWFHN/DCF.

LOCATION: Escambia/Santa Rosa Counties

STARTING ANNUAL SALARY:  $49,500

Maintain files on caseload and ensure all required documentation is completed. Complete all reports and documentation required within appropriate time frames. Research and plan education, prevention, and social skills development presentations. Foster positive relationships with assigned school to provide effective services to students.

SALARY:  $21.00-$23.00 per hour
