May is National Foster Care Month: Introducing Lacole Christmas, C1 Foster Mom
During the month of May, we have reached out to our system partners to shine a spotlight on the incredible foster moms throughout our region. May is not only Foster Care Awareness Month, but also the month we celebrate mothers.
Foster moms hold a special place in our hearts for the profound impact they have on the lives of children, and we feel privileged to dedicate this month to honor and appreciate them.
We would like to introduce you to foster mom Lacole Christmas who was recognized by a system partner!
LaCole Christmas is an amazing foster mother that always puts the children in her home first. She is dedicated to insuring they have all the services they need to support their development. She has a strong belief that siblings should be together and she exemplifies that by continuing to open her home to siblings. One of the things I admire about Lacole the most is her desire for each child to experience normalcy by participating in sports and other activities. I am so thankful for her and what she does for children in care!
