Fatherhood Peer Specialists

The Fatherhood Peer Support Specialist provides peer support services to fathers, including those with behavioral health challenges. They conduct outreach to jails, and the broader community, providing evidence-based education programs, resiliency, life skills, ongoing peer support, and most importantly HOPE that change is possible, and fathers can positively reengage with their children.

Recovery Ambassadors
Promote positive recovery messages and engaging fathers in meaningful dialogues.

Connection
Connect fathers to resources and support services available in the community.

Goal Setting
Assist fathers in articulating and reaching personal goals for recovery.

Life Skills
Assist with problem-solving techniques and other essential life skills.

Communication
Work with fathers individually and in groups.

Reunification
Assist fathers in working with their child protection case manager and/or treatment team in determining the steps necessary to achieve their own reunification and recovery goals.

Community Resources

This initiative is designed to support fathers by providing them with valuable tools and resources to navigate their parenting journey.

Interactive Journaling®

Interactive Journaling® helps fathers assess their behaviors, explore change, and set goals with a timeline.

Weekly Virtual Classes

Live, Virtual Small-groups led by experienced fatherhood professionals over six weeks.

Parenting Trainings

Quality parenting education crafted specifically for fathers.
