HOPE for the Journey Conference
This conference is designed to equip and encourage parents and caregivers to meet the needs of children impacted by trauma, adoption, and/or foster care. Bringing together teaching, resources, and practical experiences, parents and caregivers (and the churches and organizations seeking to serve these children and families) will gain a deeper understanding of these children’s needs.
Hope for the Journey will equip parents and caregivers through Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI). TBRI is designed to help meet relational and development needs of children impacted by trauma. TBRI considers the whole child-their brain, biology, behavior, body and beliefs-provides parents and caregivers with practical tools and insight to help the kids reach their highest potential. This training is useful for all parents, caregivers and caring adults. Come learn how to meet kids right where they are and help them successfully grow.
This FREE training is ideal for parents- foster, adoptive, kinship, and biological. Daycare and church childcare employees are also encouraged to attend. Lunch will be provided.
