L.O.V.E. Council Logo Design is Chosen

Feb Thu, 2023, See more: Awards,Child Protection

L.O.V.E. is a Council within NWF Health comprised of youth and young adults with lived foster care experience. They use their voices to improve the system. The Council’s mission is to empower foster youth to see and reach their full potential through building relationships, using community resources and establishing lifelong connections.

The Independent Living Team held an art competition at the end of 2022 for the design of the L.O.V.E. Council logo. Angel Williams’ design was selected as the most symbolic of the council. She is also an active leader in the L.O.V.E. Council.

Our COO, Courtney Stanford said, “The voice of our youth and young adults is critical in NWF Health’s commitment to ensuring we never stop working on system improvements. I am proud of the Independent Living team for creating a venue via the L.O.V.E. Council to ensure those impacted by our system can be heard.”

Enjoy 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place designs! We did! Congratulations to the winners of the competition!
