NWF meets with WCSO and Apalachee Center

Last week our Criminal Justice Specialist, Christy Bertera, and Law Enforcement Liaison, Mike Kemp, facilitated a meeting with the Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office and Apalachee Center to discuss ways to strengthen the relationship between our two partners and address the intersection of behavioral health and the criminal justice system. In attendance were the MRT Team Lead, Grayson Bidwell and MRT Counselor for Wakulla County, Regina McQueen, FACT Team Lead, Stephanie Brunson, and Associate Inpatient Director, Kellery Kilgore who answered questions and presented information for Major Anthony Curles, Captain Danny Harrell, and Community Outreach Coordinator David Conn with the Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office.
