NWF Resource Expo a Hit

The NWF Health Connects Resource Expo in Circuit 14 was a huge success!

With well over 150 attendees and 36 provider tables, this event served as a valuable platform for direct service workers and child welfare professionals to gather essential resources for the families they serve.

Integrating behavioral health providers and community resources with our child welfare system can prevent families from going into deeper end services and lead to improved outcomes for children and families. It can reduce the likelihood of placement disruptions, improve family functioning, and enhance overall well-being. Through quality referrals and addressing mental health issues, families are more likely to thrive and have better long-term outcomes.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the incredible community providers, food trucks, and of course, the attendees for being a part of the Expo’s success. Together, we’re building a stronger community and making a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.
