Spotlight on NWF RevMax Supervisor: Reita Kelley
Reita Kelley, transitioned to NWF in November of 2022. She was previously employed with FFN as a member of their RevMax team. She has 12 years of Child Welfare experience in programs such as Abuse Hotline, CPI, and Case Management. She previously worked for the Department of Education.
As the RevMax Supervisor, Reita provides support to the regional RevMax Team. She reviews and approves Initial IV-E eligibility determinations, Re-determinations, Adoption Eligibility, and Medicaid.
When Reita isn’t busy at work, she enjoys traveling on mission trips and has twice traveled on to Romania. She describes it as a wonderful experience. While working with the children’s ministry at the time, Reita worked with children in rural, impoverished villages of Romania. She took suitcases of coloring books, crayons, candy, etc. They played games and sang with the children. Reita was particularly impacted by the stories the villagers told of survival during difficult times in the nation, while living on an average income of $25 a month.
Reita also found humor in learning when you use a translator and have a southern accent, the translation doesn’t always work, so playing Duck, Duck, Goose with the children was turned into Duck, Duck, Ghost.
Reita has been a great addition to our NWF family! Thank you for all you do, Reita!
