The ‘RememberMe’ Project donates to our IL Youth
Can you remember when you were a youth between the ages of 13-18? For a lot of us, this was a pivotal time for our identity and sense of belonging to form: it helped to define us. There are many youth in our community that may not have a stable home, friends, or family they can count on and feel like they have no one to relate to. These young adults often feel it the most during the holidays.
The RememberMe Project is a non-profit organization formed to serve teens who are less fortunate and very often overlooked. For the past 8 years, Jimmeal Peterson and her team at the RememberMe Project have donated toiletry bags and gift cards for the youth in the Independent Living Program in our community.
We appreciate you for remembering our youth with the generous gift of 54 bags this year! To date, the RememberMe Project has helped over 300+ youth in our community.
