We Honor and Thank You, Johnnie “Madear” Peacock

We would like to honor and recognize Johnnie “Madear” Peacock for her 30 years of service as a foster parent in Circuit 1. Throughout the years, she has opened her heart and home to 100 plus children in need of a safe place to land. She continues to remain in contact with many of the children she has cared for. When asked about her support system throughout the years, Madear spoke of her Pastor Dr. Joseph Marshall, First lady Terri Marshall, and entire church family from St. John Divine Missionary Baptist Church in Pensacola. While we are sad to see her retire, we are so happy for her to enjoy her well-deserved retirement years surrounded by her family in the Tampa area.

Thank you, Madear, for all the seeds you have sown into the lives of children in the Pensacola area!
