Another Successful Super Saturday

Our Foster Family Support Team had an amazing time hosting the Super Saturday Training in Tallahassee this past weekend!

Our Super Saturday Training is designed to provide foster parents with encouragement, valuable information to grow their community of support, the opportunity to network with other foster families, and gather additional tools to help them along in their journey.

A huge shout out to the churches and guests who made this day possible! Our incredible guest speakers: Jennifer Werden Parent Advocate from The Florida Center for Early Childhood, Tenille Taylor, MDT Manager, and Haley Creamer, Panhandle Behavioral Specialist. We also want to extend a special thanks to speaker, Shelli Payne with New Worlds Reading Initiative, for providing a delicious lunch for everyone. Thank you Seminole Baptist for providing a wonderful breakfast. The event would not have been possible without Generations Church graciously hosting us. In addition to hosting, they created a “Boutique” where the foster families could shop for new items for the children in their care and gifted each foster family a Wal-mart gift card.

To all the foster parents who dedicated their time to attend, thank you for your commitment to growing and learning while making a meaningful difference in the lives of children. Your dedication does not go unnoticed, and we’re so proud to have you as part of our foster community!
