Leon County Family Literacy Fair
Leon County will Host Family Health Literacy Fair at the Main Library
Saturday, January 28th from 1-3pm located at 200 West Park Avenue, Tallahassee, FL. The Family Health Literacy Fair will feature more than 15 local health and safety organizations sharing information about resources and services offered to the community that are focused on physical and mental health and well-being.
During the event, individuals and families can attend a yoga demonstration and receive free dental, blood pressure, and body mass index (BMI) screenings. Leon County’s hurricane preparedness mascot, Billy the Bucket, will also share disaster preparedness tips for the whole family, including pets! The event will feature local health and safety organizations, including:

Attendees can receive a free health literacy bag with a mini first aid kit while supplies last.
