March is National Social Work Month: Dee Dee Miller

Meet Dee Dee Miller. Dee Dee is an Army brat, but she calls Columbus, MS. her home. She’s a twenty year Air Force Veteran (Air Traffic Controller). She graduated from University of West Florida and is currently NWF’s Kinship Supervisor in Okaloosa/Walton Counties.

Dee Dee describes her life as pretty simple: she enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends. She has been a member of the National Association of Social Workers for ten years and has this advice for new social workers entering the field: Be the Social Worker you would want to have!
