Social Work Appreciation Month: Aliris Dickens

Aliris Dickens is from Lakeland, FL. She has attended Florida A&M University and received her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. Aliris has been working in Child Welfare since 2020. She is currently working to obtain her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Florida A&M University.

Aliris LOVES being a Social Worker and enjoys helping others. She brings lots of experience to NWF Health Network: she has a background in Child Welfare, and Human Trafficking experience. Aliris is currently an Independent Living Specialist for Circuit 2.

When Aliris isn’t at work you will find her spending time with family and friends and traveling. Aliris’s advice for new Social Workers is “don’t forget to take time for yourself, so you are able to go above and beyond for your clients.”
