Social Work Appreciation Month: Jennifer Geno

Meet Jennifer Geno. Jennifer received her Bachelors Degree in Social Work from Murray State University. She is currently a Training Specialist at NWFHN. Jennifer says she’s a social worker to her core and she loves what she does.

She describes herself as a naturally shy person, however, her passion for helping others in the hopes of making their lives better overrides any nervousness or timidity she may have. Jennifer believes a social worker should “have a strong ethical compass, a great sense of integrity and respect for the people they serve.” She hopes that she demonstrates that every day.”

Jennifer has two teenagers: a son (17 yrs) who is about to graduate from high school and a daughter (14 yrs). “Please pray for me! lol.”
