Social Work Appreciation Month: Michelle Posey

Meet Michelle Posey. Michelle received her Social Work degree from the University of West Florida. She wanted to help others in her community and was drawn to social work after taking a few classes in college. Michelle was originally interested in either the medical field or education when she was younger, but social work ended up being a better fit. Michelle is a Child Welfare Contract Manager with NWFHN.

    Michelle is married to Chip and has three sons ages 13, 16 and 27 years old. She has a cute cat named, Jay Jay. Michelle also loves history. When she’s not working or spending time with family, she’s watching documentaries and listening to podcasts about English history and archology. She would love to go on a cool archology dig one day.
