Social Work Appreciation Month: Olivia Thomas
Olivia Thomas was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She moved to Florida in 1996, and has made Tallahassee her home. She is the single parent of six children ranging in the ages of four through twenty-eight. Becoming a Social worker has been a lifelong dream and goal of Olivia’s since she was a child.
Olivia was dedicated to raising her children and determined to receive a degree from Thomas University. She graduated with her Bachelor’s of Social Work in 2012 and wanted to gain more knowledge in the field of social work. Olivia decided to continue her education and enrolled in Walden University, where she received her Master’s Degree in Social Work in 2018. Olivia has over a decade of experience serving children, individuals and families. She offers a unique blend of experience and knowledge.
Olivia enjoys relaxing, traveling, spending time outdoors; especially around water, and watching movies with her children.
We appreciate you, Olivia! Thank you for doing wonderful work at NWFHN.
