Mary Smith of Gadsden County has been a foster parent for 15+ years and cared for over 20 children during that time. After 25 years in the healthcare profession, Mary retired and began working as a part-time caregiver for the elderly. She is a loving, friendly, and compassionate woman who raised six birth children as a single parent.  After her kids were grown, Mary decided to become a Foster Parent stating, “I can’t do anything with this love but give it away.”
