Spotlight on: Phillips Foster Family of Circuit 1

The Philips family is making a significant impact in our community through their dedication as foster parents. With three biological children, one adopted child, and a passion for sports and outdoor activities, they create a warm and active environment for all the children in their care. Having been foster parents in Maryland before relocating to Florida in 2020, the Philips bring valuable experience to their role, particularly in implementing Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) techniques to nurture and support the children placed with them.

Drawing strength from their faith, extended family, and church community, the Philips navigate the challenges of foster parenting with resilience and love. Over the years, they have welcomed more than twenty children through foster care, providing a stable and nurturing environment for each child who comes through their doors. In addition, Ellie’s involvement with the Gulf Coast Foster Bridge organization showcases their commitment to giving back to the community and supporting the foster care system beyond their own family unit. The Philips family’s dedication and compassion exemplify the positive impact that foster families can have on the lives of children.
