Spotlight on the Catone Foster Family

Kendall is an exceptional young woman who has chosen to open her home to 15 children in foster care; not just for a bed to sleep in, but a home with a parent that loves them and strongly advocates for them. She has a huge heart and has made a difference in several kid’s lives. Right away Kendall showed great wisdom in becoming friends with several seasoned foster parents who have shown her the ropes and shared their experiences to help her to become a fabulous foster parent! She takes every opportunity for training and has developed a community of friends in foster care through some local groups. Kendall also partners well with biological parents and system partners.  She has elicited the help of her co-workers to update and organize our local foster closet. On top of all of this she has rallied her coworkers to support children in care at Christmas by purchasing gifts and making donations.  We are so glad to have Kendall on our team!
