What is a Kinship Specialist?

*A caring professional who assists non-relative caregivers in becoming licensed foster parents for children placed in their care through the child welfare system.

*A valued team member of the Northwest Florida Health Network.

*A detail oriented professional who desires to provide meaningful support to foster families and ensure safety requirements are met per licensing standards.

NWFHN’s Kinship Program is a group of highly motivated child welfare professionals filling the gap to support kinship families in Circuits 1, 2, and 14.
